The page header is HTML code that is added to the top of the page, whilst the page footer is added at the bottom.

For most pages these would be left blank.


Suppose you want a banner to be placed at the top of each page on your Web Site. You could use the page header as shown in the figure.

Simple Page Header

Any valid HTML is allowed.
