Reviews of the World
Reviews are published annually in a series of easy-to-read books, one for each region of the world :-
- Africa Review 2005 - First published in 1980 - Edition 26
- Americas Review 2005 - First published in 1980 - Edition 22
- Asia and Pacific Review 2005 - First published in 1980 - Edition 22
- Europe Review 2005 - First published in 1986 - Edition 16
- Middle East Review 2005 - First published in 1986 - Edition 28
Each review is full of information and over 400 pages, with key facts and details on politics, government, the economy, history, legal system, health, trade and much more about all countries in the region. A business directory for each country is also included, giving useful phone numbers and web site addresses for government ministries, chambers of commerce, banks, travel etc. All countries are laid out in a standard review format.
On-line fact sheets are also available for all of the countries in the world. These give a snapshot of the country and a taste of the valuable information in each of the reviews.
The World of Information database is very comprehensive and can be cut in an infinite number of ways to create specialist publications for specific purposes. In 2005, Democracies of the World was created for the OECD.
