Let's face it, some of the stuff, you want to put on the Web Site is extremely boring, but nevertheless important. It could be the latest safety instructions for your new range of boilers, or perhaps a catalogue of thousands of records and CDs, that your company sells. With something like the first, you will have to bite the bullet and publish it correctly with it's diagrams and pictures, despite the fact that it is large, long and very wordy. But use colour (it costs nothing on the Web) to highlight important parts and create a proper context, with links to the various sections. With catalogues use colour, perhaps even a local search engine and break it down into sub-catalogues, such as A-D, E-K, L-R and S-Z. Note that BodgeIt! offers a sensible alternative in that it can break long documents into sections, each of which can be accessed through a simple menu. See the Notes for Daisy TMS as a example, built by BodgeIt!
